The end of the Romanovs

Miraculously preserved, these were the last words Tsarina Alexandra wrote in her diary, a few hours before she was executed with her husband and children in the basement of the Ipatyev House. With that, the first chapter of Russian history ended. The Imperial regime was abolished forever, and a new era began.
