“Fighting in Flanders – Gas. Mud. Memory.” Exhibition at the Canadian War Museum

Irina Gaber . . .

Discover how Canadian soldiers had to adapt to significant challenges in Belgium: from the poison gas in Ypres, to the hellish mud of Passchendaele. The exhibition, organized as part of a Canada-Belgium partnership, proposes visitors several artifacts, including gas masks and even an interactive module to smell the odour of Ypres’ gas.
